[Wolnica] "We were a group of ten irish girls that travelled to Krakow in July 2006 and stayed in the wolnica apatments. They were wonderful, clean, spacious, comfortable and centrally located(no taxi s required).

We really enjoyed our stay in Krakow. Of all the european destinations we travelled to this summer Krakow was everyones favourite place by far....the people, the accomodation, the pubs especially the irish arms, walking by the canal, the salt mines, and Auschwitz. Next stop Krakow.......a hidden gem!.

[Starowislna] "Good morning Kevin, I thought I would just write to tell you we are back from our holiday and absolutely loved Krakow. The accommodation was just fantastic and we loved the whole set up the apartment.Just felt all pre war and war time you see this type of housing on tv and it was just felt great to be there. There was a lot of us to help carry the bags up all those stairs. We laugh now, but at the time it was a struggle, so once again thank you for all your help and if you have anyone that is unsure of the accomadation you recommended don't hesitate to contact me i will give it a 10/10."

[Wolnica] "Hi Kevin, We returned from Krakow last night and I thought I'd drop you a quick e-mail to thank you.

We had a wonderful time in Krakow. The weather was glorious and the apartment was excellent, especially the 35ft window! There was lots to do and I wished we had more time there.

Should we ever visit Krakow again, and I hope we do, we'll definitely contact you to stay in Wolnica Sqaure.

Thanks again.
Kind regards
Alison"

[Wielopole] "The Wielopole apartment was just fantastic. It was bigger, airier, brighter, roomier, homelier and right in the heart of Krakow i.e., nearer than I thought. It would have been no hardship at all on any of us to have laid off on any of the comfartable couches and watched DVD's for hours on end. However, that will have to wait for the next time round.

We were busy from the moment we arrived. God bless Maurice, your agent as he was waiting outside the apartment with the keys and helped us in with our luggage. We headed straight for the Irish Arms Bar which was only a 7 minute walk away and it was alive with wall to wall people, all of them having the time of their lives. We were a tad anxious about closing time, but a very kind beautiful waitress assured us that closing time was 'when the last Customer left'. Happy days for all twelve of us.

Wednesday we sorted out the various trips we wanted to go on and visited the Jewish Quarter in Krakow including Schindler had his famous factory in this area. We visited two really unusual bars in this area. The first named 'Propaganda' and just up the street from there was another even more unusual one called 'Alchemia'. The decor is amazing and we loved walking through the wardrobe!

Thursday we took a train to Auschwitz. Snow everywhere so it felt almost surreal, as if we had stepped back in time to 1941.

Friday evening we went to the Salt Mines and we were late enough getting back to Krakow. You need to book a table for early in the evening when the weekend arrives. However we were lucky to be accommodated by very friendly folks in the Mexican restaurant on Polenska Ul. When we were fortified, we called into see Maurice next door and had some delicious Baby Guinnesses and I made arrangements about dropping the key there for the following evening. Maurice very generously gave us all a drink on the house -Polish cherry vodka mmmmmmmmmmmm.!

Saturday was our last day so it was best to do some shopping to take home with us. All too soon it was 6pm and time to head for the airport. The Polish people we met were warm and friendly and on several occasions when asking where a particular shop was located, they actually went out of their way and came with us.

So Kevin, I have no doubt you will be hearing from us again. If not me, then it will certainly be from one of my friends. However, I just couldn't bear for them to go without me.

Have a very happy Christmas and a memorable New Year and thanks for one of the best four nights/five days I've spent anywhere in a long, long time.

Kind regards Frances."

[Starowislna] "Just to say thanks for the apartment, we had a great time in the Starowislna apartment. Our 1 year old daughter absolutely loved the parquet floor in the lounge; it gave her so much space to play and explore. The walk-in wardrobe in the main upstairs bedroom made a great bedroom for her too!!! (plenty of space for her travel cot!!) Your apartment is fabulous, and very central to explore the delights of Krakow. We shall certainly recommend you to any friends wishing to visit this area."

[Starowislna] "Hi Kevin, just a quick e-mail from myself Davy Crumlish and my partner, Lynne Dobbin, to say, thank you so much for the apartment. We were over the moon with it. Loved Krakow as well, beautiful place, hopefully we'll go back soon, and contact you in advance for a booking. Thanks again Kevin...."

[Wielopole] "A very nice, clean, homely and spacious apartment located within easy reach of the old town. Communication from the owner prior to arrival detailing the arrangements on key etc, was very good. Would recommend this place to stay again."

[Wielopole] "The Wielopole Apartment is just a short walk from everything you will want to see and do in Krakow. It is also a very short walk from the bus and train station where you can get transportation to just about anywhere in Europe. The apartment is very spacious, clean and nicely decorated with all the comforts of home. Both Kevin and his property manager are incredibly helpful - always going above and beyond to make your stay in Krakow enjoyable. I highly recommend the Wielopole apartment and plan on staying there again myself when I return to Krakow."

[Szlak] "A nice apartment (the photo's don't really do it justice), with plenty of space and all the facilities you will need - all within walking distance of the main square",

[Szlak] "We just returned to Ukraine...thank you so much for the apartment...we enjoyed being together there...it was beautiful...

Sorry we had to leave a night early...thank you for understanding... Will contact you in the future if we get to get back to Krakow! Again, Thank you,

"Well, we're are back from our trip and I just wanted to thank you for being understanding about the apartment" ... "we had a wonderful time and we wish we could have stayed in your Starowislna apartment longer because it was beautiful. With much thanks",

[Szlak] "Very luxurious apartment. I couldn’t believe the value for money on offer. Great location for access to centre where all the activity is not far away by taxi. Approved of the flexibile management with their hassle free check-in. Couldn't recommend it enough and will definitely be back. Can't wait!

Krakow has everything to offer, starting with first class accomodation like this"

[Starowislna] "After searching the internet for hotel rooms or apartments in Krakow we stumbled into your luxury apartments. The Starowislna apartment turned out to be the ideal place to stay, only 12 min from the Rynek or the Wawel and close Click photo to enlargeto all the charming restaurants at Kazimierz. After a dozen daytrips in the past 20 years this was the first time we spent several days in Kraków. We learned to know the city from a different perspective. Not only the beautiful shops and nice restaurants but also the politeness and friendliness of the people was remarkable.

We have seen a lot from the original 200 years old wooden houses in Chocholów, Zakopane (Gubalówka, Kasprowy Wierch, Krupówki, bazar and churches), the famous salt mines in Wieliczka with their beautiful sculptures, the nature reserve around Ojców with the castle Pieskowa Skala to the many beautiful churches, museums, shops and restaurants, bars etc all around the Rynek and Kazimierz. Your apartment offered us the comfort that made us immediately feel at home and made our stay in this beautiful and friendly town very rewarding! We certainly come back and hope to be able to make use of one of your apartments again. Best wishes".

[Starowislna] "Kevin, Just to say thanks for all your help with the Starowislna apartment. The accommodation was first class and all we expected. Thanks again. If we come to Krakow again, and I'm sure we will, I'll be in touch.

Best wishes".

[Starowislna] "Hi Kevin

Just want to say thanks for a great time at your place. Everything was well organised and your management agent was fantastic (Nick). Wielepole is well located, clean, comfortable and well equipped and I would certainly recommend it to anyone. The Irish Arms is a good base and everyone is very friendly and helpful.

Crakow offer lots of good thing to go and see as well as just the pubs and restaurants in the square. Cant wait to go again!! Thanks Kevin".

[Starowislna] "Krakow was fantastic. We got to see all the places you recommended and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Because it is so compact it's easy to get around and staying in the Wielopole apartment was very handy for everything. I just loved being there as the flat itself is gorgeous. It was lovely and we really enjoyed crashing out there at the end of each day. Krakow has something for everyone whether you're interested in history or slumming in the music bars or enjoying excellent food. Even the Irish Stew and Tex Mex is done Polish style and very tasty it is too! Try the Polish beer - I loved it. People were very helpful and sign language goes a long way if you can't communicate verbally. It's also fun trying a few Polish phrases and is much appreciated"

[Starowislna] "I visited Krakow in August of this year. Krakow is one of the treasures of the world and with a town square akin to Prague with hundreds of good bars and restaurants within a few square km. I stayed in one of Kevin and Martha's apartments which is a short stroll from the town centre. The apartment was huge relative to western European standards, and very well furnished - a home from home. Also, a nice bonus is that your money goes a very long way. It is with pleasure that I recommend the accommodation and Krakow for a visit to remember!"

[Starowislna] "During August of 2004, we had the pleasure of visiting the apartment on Starowislna. I stayed there with my wife and three daughters (15, 12 and 9). Krakow is a wonderful place to visit with loads of culture and history to see as well as very reasonable shopping for the ladies :)

The apartment was perfect. Lots of room, perfectly furnished - all mod cons - even a Satellite TV for the kids in the evenings when they got too tired to go out. All in all I can whole-heartedly recommend Krakow and this apartment!"

[Starowislna] "Krakow is the most enchanting place I have ever been from the amazing architecture to the laid back nightlife in cosy bars with pure character. The apartment was ideally located right beside the Jewish quarter Kazimierz which has beautiful restaurants and the best bars. It is also located a 10 minute short stroll from the Grand square which boasts beautiful churches, monuments, Shops bars and cafes. I would recommend Krakow to anybody for any type of holiday from a short weekend break to a long break in the Summer months where you are guaranteed great weather". Make sure to visit Maurice in the Irish Arms for some guaranteed fun!"
